Is your Spirit of Giving overflowing into 2021? Do you have household necessities or clothing that just does not work for you anymore? Are there items you can spare towards someone in need? Then keep reading-this post is for you! Verity and Phinney Estate Law are coming together to sponsor restocking the Ravens Care Closet from January 25th through February 13th.
What is the Ravens Care Closet?
Robert Eagle Staff Middle School, located in North Seattle, keeps an inventory of essential supplies for students and their families to take for free when they need it. The school also provides onsite health care, allowing families easy access to necessary services. Each year, the school holds a fundraiser to restock the Care Closet in hopes of providing for the current school year. But this year, due to the pandemic, and increased demand from families in need, supplies have run extremely low and they are calling on YOU to help.
What is Verity doing to help?
Not only are we putting the Verity name on it and helping spread the word about the unique and beneficial program, we are collecting supplies. The Greenwood Branch, has a collection bin available to anyone looking to donate, member or not. And then on the supply drive culminates Saturday, February 13 with a drive-up/drop-off donation event, in social distance fashion.
