How To Make A Loan Payment

You have a loan with Verity—congratulations! When it comes time to make your loan payment, you have several options of how to do so

Questions?

To find out your loan account number, refer to your loan documentation, statements or the account “details” tab in Digital Banking.

If you need additional assistance, please contact us.

  • Automatic Payments

Have your loan payment automatically deducted from an account at a financial institution of your choice. With automatic payments, you don’t have to worry about remembering to pay your bill and you know it will be received on time.

To set up automatic payments, fill out and return the automatic payment form. Please note it can take up to 10 days for the automatic payments to take effect.

If you would like to set up automatic payments for your credit card, please read the instructions in our FAQ.

  • Pay in Digital Banking

If you are making loan payments from your Verity account, or an account at another financial institution that you have linked to your Verity accounts, you can easily do so in Digital Banking. Just click "Make a loan payment" in the main menu. You can also do a simple transfer from a Verity account to a Verity loan to make your loan payment.

  • Pay Online With An Account At Another Institution

If you’re interested in paying directly from a checking or savings account at another financial institution, you can do so for free online with our secure payment portal. You can make payments of up to $2,000 with this method. This payment option is available for the following loan types:

    • Home Equity Line of Credit (Masterline or HELOC)
    • Personal loan
    • Ready Money Line of Credit
    • Share/Certificate loan
    • Home mortgage loan

You will need to know the account and routing number for the account being used to make the payment. You will also need to know your Verity loan account number. The payment will post to your loan account within 2 business days.

  • Pay Online with A Credit/Debit Card From Another Institution

If you’re interested in paying with a debit or credit card from another financial institution, you can do so online with our secure payment portal. You can make payments of up to $1,000 with this method.

This payment option is available for the following loan types:

    • Auto loan
    • Fixed 2nd mortgage
    • Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC)
    • Personal loan
    • Ready Money Line of Credit

    • Home mortgage loan

Please note that there is a $10 fee to pay this way and you will need to know your loan account number. The fee will be added to the payment amount due. The payment will post to your loan account within 2 business days.

  • Bill Pay From Another Financial Institution

You can set up your Verity loan payments through Bill Pay at another financial institution. To set up the payments, follow the Bill Pay instructions at your other financial institution. Please note that you will need to know your loan account number and the payment will not post immediately, so plan to submit the payment in advance of the due date.

  • Over the Phone

You can pay over the phone with our 24-hour automated system, using your card or account information from any financial institution. You need to know your loan account number in order to use the system, and all loan types (except credit cards) can be paid this way. To access the automated system, call Verity's main phone number at (206) 440-9000 or (800) 444-4589 and follow the prompts for loan payments. You can pay directly from a checking or savings account, using your account and routing number, for free. You can also make your payment with a debit or credit card for a $10 fee.

Please note that if you are making a payment over the phone with staff assistance, using a debit or credit card from another financial institution, there is a $15 fee.

  • In Person At A Branch

You are always welcome to visit your nearest location and make a payment in person. If you do not have a Verity branch nearby, you can also visit another credit union location that participates in Shared Branching. You will need to have photo identification and know your account number in order to use Shared Branching.
