Jane Eyre

This holiday season, check out Jane Eyre at ArtsWest. This show, adapted from the novel by Charlotte Bronte, tells the story of a spirited young orphan that finds an unexpected home with a wealthy family and against all odds, finds love as well. Winterfest

Seattle Center is home to Winterfest through New Year's Eve. There are free and affordable activities for the whole family ranging from ice skating to concerts. Free Entry to State Parks

All state parks in Washington will be free to enter on January 1 and January 21 in honor of New Year's Day and Martin Luther King Day, respectively. Visit parks.state.wa.us for a full list of parks, which you can sort by region.

Children's Film Festival Seattle 2019

Each year, Northwest Film Forum selects more than 140 children's films from dozens of countries for Children's Film Festival Seattle. In addition to many film screenings, this festival also features live performances, shorts, features and workshops.

West Seattle Art Walk

The West Seattle Art Walk is held from 5:00 p.m. to late on the second Thursday of each month. Spend the evening strolling through West Seattle, stopping at local merchants to see local art and enjoying discounted food and beverages at participating businesses.

West Seattle Farmers Market

Every Sunday, the West Seattle Farmers Market takes place in the heart of The Junction in West Seattle. Vendors offer a variety of seasonal produce, meat, dairy, jams, sauces and other artisan foods.
