Northwest Folklife Festival

The Northwest Folklife Festival is the place to learn, to dance, to play, to try something new, and to discover arts and cultures that inspire celebration of one another and our big neighborhood. From yodeling to beatboxing, square dancing to Bollywood, the Northwest Folklife Festival celebrates the global traditions of local, independent artists.

Celebrating Dreams, Celebrating Success

Verity is a proud sponsor of this event that celebrates local women-owned businesses and women entrepreneurs. The Washington Women's Business Center is hosting this evening of food, drinks and networking. Make community connections and celebrate the dreams and success of local women in business.

Free Entry to State Parks

All State Parks in Washington will be free to enter on June 2, June 9 and June 10 to celebrate National Trails Day, National Get Outdoors Day and Fishing Day, respectively. Visit parks.state.wa.us for a full list of parks, which you can sort by region.

Make Music Day Seattle

Make Music Seattle is a live, free musical celebration with concerts on streets, sidewalks and parks across the city. It is part of an international effort on June 21 to celebrate music around the world. Visit makemusicday.org/seattle to learn who will be playing where.

Dryft Concert Series

Have you ever wanted to attend a concert on a boat? Dryft is hosting several concerts this summer aboard the S.S. Virginia V steamship, which is docked in South Lake Union. This is a unique concert series because you won't know who you are seeing until you arrive at the venue. Every concert is intimate and a uniquely Seattle experience.
