Through our Community Impact efforts, we provide sponsorships and donations to eligible organizations through a structured, values-based process that ensures transparency, consistency, and meaningful community impact.

What We Support
Verity prioritizes sponsorships and donations that:
- Serve communities within Verity’s CDFI investment areas
- Advance financial education, economic stability, or community well-being
- Align with Verity’s mission and cooperative values
- Demonstrate clear, measurable community impact
Support may include event sponsorships, program support, or other mission-aligned opportunities.

What We Do Not Support
To ensure fairness and consistency, Verity does not provide sponsorships or donations to:
- Political or religious organizations
- Individuals or for-profit businesses
- Organizations outside Verity’s service area
- Requests that do not align with Verity’s mission or values
- Requests submitted outside the established review process

Eligibility
Organizations must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Be a registered nonprofit organization
- Serve communities within Verity’s geographic footprint
- Submit requests through Verity’s official sponsorship and donation request process
Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding.

How the Process Works
- Review eligibility guidelines and funding priorities
- Submit a sponsorship or donation request using the official request form, preferably 6 to 8 weeks before the event
- Requests are reviewed by Verity staff using a standardized evaluation process
- Organizations are notified once a decision has been made, typically within 10 business days.
Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis. Timing and funding availability may vary.

All sponsorship, donation, and event participation requests are reviewed at the sole discretion of Verity Credit Union and are subject to available resources, alignment with Verity’s community priorities, and compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) requirements.
Submission of a request does not guarantee funding, sponsorship, or participation. Verity Credit Union reserves the right to approve, decline, modify, or withdraw support based on organizational, regulatory, or reputational considerations.
