Our mission includes a commitment to promote strong and vibrant communities. We do this by supporting community organizations, participating in and hosting events, donating funds to worthy causes and so much more.
Each year, we put together an Annual Impact Report to show our members, employees and partners what we accomplished together.

Community Engagement

You have a choice in where you bank
Community is at the heart of what we do—it's even in our mission. Verity is a local credit union that believes in socially responsible banking. We’re part of a movement working to create stronger, healthier, more sustainable communities because we believe a financial institution can do good. When you bank with Verity, your money helps make positive impacts in our vibrant communities. About 87% of our deposits are used to invest in the local economy and members through loans, whether it’s a loan for an eco-friendly car, or adding a tiny home to your backyard.

Events
Each year, Verity participates in many community events throughout Western Washington.
Supporting access to local art is important to us, and several of our branches regularly participate in community art walks. If you are a local artist interested in showing at our West Seattle, Ballard or Greenwood locations, please contact the branch directly.
Education is power, which is why we often host free seminars and workshops for our members. Watch our events calendar for upcoming classes.
