Apple Pay

Verity consumer credit and debit cards can now be used with Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service that allows people to make payments using their device instead of using a debit or credit card. In order to use Apple Pay, you need to have a supported device, an Apple ID, and use a merchant that accepts Apple Pay at a contactless payment terminal.

What makes Apple Pay different than traditional payment methods? Your card number is never shared with the merchant and it isn't stored on your phone. Instead of transmitting a credit card number to a payment terminal or app, Apple Pay sends a Device Account Number and a temporary token that verifies the transaction. Every transaction also requires you to authenticate the purchase with Touch ID or your passcode.

After you add any Verity cards you want to have in your Apple Pay Wallet, you will receive an email from Verity confirming your addition. The email may take 1-2 business days to arrive. Please note that ATM cards and business credit cards are not supported at this time.

If you are having difficulty adding your Verity card to your Apple Pay Wallet, please use our online chat service or call us at (800) 444-4589 or (206) 440-9000.
