Business Impact NW Launch & Grown Your Business series

Join professionals from Business Impact NW and learn about how to successfully start and grow your business. During seven sessions, participants will learn how to manage, market and finance their businesses, with a focus on writing a business plan. Participants will also enjoy networking with other people who are starting or running businesses. Shred-a-Thon

Verity's annual Shred-a-Thon returns to Alderwood and Beacon Hill! Bring your unwanted sensitive documents and have them securely shredded by a Shred-It truck, right in front of you! Please bring donation of $10 cash or non-perishable food to donate to local food banks.

Edmonds Arts Fair

Artists display paintings, photos, sculptures, and jewelry at Edmonds Arts Festival, which has food,beer, wine, entertainment, and activities inside and outside Edmonds Woodway High School. No pets.

Fremont Solstice Parade and Fair

The Fremont Solstice Parade is wacky, weird, and world-famous for its nude painted cyclists who ride at 12:30 p.m. The parade starts at 1 p.m. (Leary Way NW & 2nd Ave NW) and ends at Gas Works Park with bands and beer 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Fremont Fair runs all weekend and offers a craft market, art activities, food vendors, a beer garden, funky painted cars, live music and more.

Make Music Day Seattle

Make Music Seattle is a live, free musical celebration with concerts on streets, sidewalks and parks across the city. It is part of an international effort on June 21 to celebrate music around the world. Visit makemusicday.org/seattle to learn who will be playing where.

Shoreline Arts Festival

Shoreline Arts Festival offers a juried art show, entertainment, food truck court, ethnic exhibits, and children’s art activities at Shoreline Center.

PrideFest

Join us at PrideFest in Seattle Center and enjoy the largest LGBTQ event in the Pacific Northwest. The Pride Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. at 4th and Union and ends near City Center. Verity staff will be there with a photo booth, giveaways, and information about how people can join the credit union movement.

Seafair Summer Fourth at Gas Works Park has family activities, entertainment, food and beverages, and fireworks at 10:20 p.m.

NW SolarFest

Shoreline Community College hosts the NW SolarFest, a renewable energy and sustainable living fair. Hear live music and see exhibitors and vendors, plus electric vehicles. Free.
