Pumpkin Bash

Have you ever wanted to see what tigers or penguins do when given a pumpkin? Visit the Woodland Park Zoo on October 28 or 29 for the Pumpkin Bash! This fun event features pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating, storytelling and puppet shows.

Seattle International Comedy Competition

The 38th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition is held throughout November at venues all around Puget Sound. The competition begins with 32 comedians from all over the country and is narrowed down to one winner over the course of November. PNA's Winter Beer Taste

Celebrate 30 years of beer tastes with the Phinney Neighborhood Association on Saturday, November 11 at the Phinney Center. From 7-10:00 p.m., enjoy specialty brews from more than 35 breweries and cideries along with snacks and a silent auction. National Parks Free Days

Entry is free at all National Parks, including Mt. Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades, on November 11 & 12. These are the last free entrance days of 2017 so take advantage and get outside! Expect more people and less parking than usual.

All State Parks in Washington will be free to enter on November 11 and November 24. Visit parks.state.wa.us for a full list of parks, which you can sort by region.

Brews and Bluegrass

On Wednesday, November 15, Verity is sponsoring Brews and Bluegrass at Naked City Brewery in Greenwood. From 7-10:00 p.m., enjoy delicious beer and performances by Tangletown String Band and Right As Rain. This event is a fundraiser to benefit the Phinney Neighborhood Association's Hot Meal Program.

Yulefest

Celebrate 40 years of Yulefest at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard. Dozens of vendors will be on-site selling wares and Scandinavian food and beverages. Enjoy music, dancing, a visit from Santa and a silent auction!
