Join professionals from Business Impact NW and learn about how to successfully start and grow your business. During seven sessions, participants will learn how to manage, market and finance their businesses, with a focus on writing a business plan. Participants will also enjoy networking with other people who are starting or running businesses. Shred-a-Thon

Verity's annual Shred-a-Thon returns to Alderwood and Beacon Hill! Bring your unwanted sensitive documents and have them securely shredded by a Shred-It truck, right in front of you! Please bring donation of $10 cash or non-perishable food to donate to local food banks.

Business Among Moms - BAM

BAM is a community of mom entrepreneurs that support each other through online communities and social and educational events.

Watershed Fun Fair

A fun family event chock full of exhibits, games, crafts, nature walks, and activities especially for kids. This year’s theme is Singin’ in the Raingarden. Take a tour of Edmonds’ newest raingarden cluster (1:30-3pm), learn about fish, backyard wildlife habitat, soil, and water conservation and more, all geared towards learning how to protect Puget Sound. Dance like bees with Urban Farmer Lisa Taylor and her Garden Critter Academy at the pollinator dance party starting at 12:30pm

Emonds Art Walk

Art Walk Edmonds is a non-profit organization representing local artists and business owners dedicated to supporting Art Walk, a FREE grassroots community event held the third Thursday of every month. With a multitude of galleries and businesses hosting local and regional artists, we invite you to come enjoy all types of art including fine art, music, dance, theatre, performance art, culinary art, and the written word. Memorial Day Parade

Join the Mill Creek community in honoring those who have died in active service to the United States. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. down Main Street, ending at City Hall. It will wind down Main Street, starting at from LA Fitness in the Mill Creek Town Center and ending at City Hall. The parade will highlight the veterans in the Mill Creek community and honor members of local families who died in service.

Make Music Day Seattle

Make Music Seattle is a live, free musical celebration with concerts on streets, sidewalks and parks across the city. It is part of an international effort on June 21 to celebrate music around the world. Visit makemusicday.org/seattle to learn who will be playing where.
