Director of Lending

Seattle, WA

The Director of Lending is responsible for creating, communicating, and carrying out the vision for the Consumer Lending and Collections functions at Verity Credit Union. The Director is responsible for the planning and achievement of strategic and departmental goals, ensuring continued development of loan products and services, setting the standard for exceptional internal and external member service, and the overall operational performance of the lending function. The Director will work in conjunction with lending managers, department heads, and senior management to ensure effective marketing, business development, and the long-term success of Verity’s Lending function. They will ensure compliance with Verity Credit Union policies and procedures as well as applicable laws.



Call Center Member Consultant

Seattle, WA

The Call Center Member Consultant creates an exceptional member experience by discovering our member’s financial needs and offering products and services that will save them money, earn them more and make their lives more convenient. This position handles all aspects of the member experience in a high-volume inbound Call Center.  The Call Center Member Consultant processes educates members on alternate ways to transact on their accounts, establishes new member accounts and loans, and discovers and recommends additional products and services that would benefit members. 



Part-Time Teller - Beacon Hill Branch

Seattle, WA

Tellers create an exceptional member experience by providing superior service and offering products and services that will save our members money, earn them more, and make their lives more convenient. This position handles all branch transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, issuing checks, and processing cash advances.



Call Center Representative

Seattle, WA

Handles teller operations over the phone and remotely, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, issuing checks, cash advances, and responding to member inquiries. Has extensive member contact and suggests products and services to meet member needs. Exercises independent judgment in resolving issues and satisfying members.



Mortgage Servicing Representative

Seattle, WA

The Mortgage Servicing Representative assists in the overall function and operation of the Mortgage Servicing Department with a concentration on maintaining excellent member service. Duties will include document acquisition, archiving, reproduction, loan payoffs, loan reconveyances, payoff statements, auditing and post-closing functions. Additional duties will also include payment processing, set-up and maintenance of loan insurance, semi-annual tax disbursement, and escrow administration.




Junior Mortgage Underwriter

Seattle, WA

The Junior Underwriter is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and approving underwriting conditions of the approval to insure individual loan requests are within company and industry guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and applicable ratios; evaluating; examining transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness; ensuring that documents are consistent and uphold company and industry guidelines; implementing fraud detection techniques, and performing compliance reviews.



CU Home Mortgage Solutions Openings

CU Home Mortgage Solutions (CUHMS) is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) owned in part by Verity Credit Union. CUHMS provides mortgage processing, underwriting, funding, and loan servicing to partner credit unions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
