Work/Life Balance

  • Full-time employees enjoy a 37.5 hour work week
  • Paid time off (PTO) for combined vacation and sick leave starts accruing immediately and is available to all employees who work 20+ hours per week:
    • Full-time hourly: 15 days of PTO each year for the first 2 years of service
    • Full-time salaried: 20 days of PTO each year for the first 5 years of service
    • Part-time employees receive half of these benefit amounts
    • Maximum annual PTO accrual for all employees is 30 days
    • Employees may rollover up to 300 hours of PTO each year and have the option of cashing out unused PTO
  • 10 paid holidays each year
  • Paid parental leave available to all employees working 20+ hours per week after 6 months of service
    • 4 weeks of paid leave for new mothers
    • 2 weeks of paid leave for new fathers
  • Community involvement
    • Employees are eligible for 7.5 hours of paid volunteer time off each year
    • Employees also get paid to participate in Verity Community Service Day
  • Up to $100 monthly subsidy for employees who use public transportation, carpool, walk or bike to work
