Operations Assistant Manager

Northgate Branch or Call Center

The Operations Assistant Manager assists in maintaining the daily operations of the branch or call center, the coaching and development of staff, and ensures compliance with Verity's policies, procedures, security measures, and applicable laws. He/she oversees staff supervision and scheduling, contributes ideas to achieve branch goals, and assists the Operations Manager with all aspects of branch operations. He/she exercises independent judgment with minimal supervision to resolve issues, satisfy members, and promote Verity's Core Values.


Lending Products and Systems Specialist

Northgate Headquarters

The Lending Products and Systems Specialist is responsible the research, development, and implementation of new consumer, mortgage, and business lending products. The will also be responsible for assisting with maintenance of the lending origination and collections systems.

COMPENSATION

  • Salary: For every position, Verity conducts research to ensure that we offer a competitive salary compared to our region and industry, even compared to companies much larger in size and assets.
  • Incentives: Every position--even those that are part-time--can earn incentive pay linked to achieving our strategic goals. We reward performance and results.

  • Premium Pay: Verity employees can earn profit sharing bonuses at the end of each year if they achieve defined goals.

BENEFITS: HEALTH

  • Medical: Verity is pleased to be part of the First Choice Health Network, an extensive provider network covering the greater Puget Sound area. Verity subsidizes the cost for employees and their families including domestic partners, resulting in a rich plan at a reasonable cost.
  • Dental & Vision: Direct reimbursement plans for dental and vision enable employees to choose any provider or practitioner and avoid waiting for reimbursement from insurance companies. The plan is easy to understand, includes all procedures excluding cosmetics, and includes domestic partners.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts: Employees can contribute pre-tax pay towards an account to pay for health and dependent care. It can mean tax savings of 20% to 40% on the associated costs and is a great compliment to our medical, dental, and vision plans.

BENEFITS: FINANCIAL PLANNING

  • 401(k): We offer a 3% matching contribution to each employee's 401(k) fund. The employer match is 100% vested, providing higher interest-earning potential on funds. Employees are eligible to participate after 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Roth 401(k): Verity's Roth 401(k) is identical to our traditional 401(k) program except that contributions are made using after-tax dollars. Qualified future distributions are tax-free.
  • Investment Services: The complimentary services that Verity provides to our members are also available to employees. These include individual consultations on home buying, paying for education, and saving for retirement. Our investment advisors are licensed, insured, and focused on the needs of individuals rather than selling specific products.

The difference is in the details! Verity offers a wide array of perks, beginning with generous holidays and paid-time-off--and that's just the beginning:

  • Education Benefit: Verity recognizes the value of education to our employees and the credit union. We offer education reimbursement to both full-time and part-time employees. An even larger benefit for those seeking a Masters Degree such as an MBA is also available. We believe applied learning will help engage employees to lead Verity into the future.
  • Fitness Subsidy: To help our staff stay in shape, Verity is pleased to offer a fitness subsidy that helps employees pay for gym dues, weight loss courses, smoking cessation classes, and even fitness equipment.
  • Home Computer 0% Financing: Verity helps staff get the information technology they need to keep working and learning in the form of 0% financing for personal home computers. The interest is waived as long as the buyer is employed with Verity.
  • Mortgage Discount: A .25 % discount from on loan origination fee of any Verity-serviced, FHA, or VA mortgage is available to all employees. It can mean thousands of dollars in savings.
  • Professional Clothing 0% Financing: To help everyone "dress for success," we provide 0% financing for professional clothing. The interest is waived as long as the buyer is employed at Verity.
  • Traffic Management Plan: This plan was developed help reduce the use of single-occupant vehicles and mitigate traffic congestion. Verity offers great financial incentives for employees who bus, bike, walk, or carpool.
