Branch Manager

Ballard, WA

The Branch Manager maintains overall responsibility for the sales, service and operations of the branch, along with the coaching and development of branch staff. Ensures compliance with Verity's policies, procedures, security measures and applicable laws. Has extensive contact with members and conducts relationships in a manner that enhances the standard of quality member service for the credit union. Works closely with the Sales Manager to achieve assigned strategic sales branch goals. Works on objectives assigned by the Director of Branches.



Member Service Representative - Part Time

Seattle, WA - Beacon Hill Branch

The Member Service Representative will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashing checks, issuing checks, cash advances, etc. This position also has extensive member contact and suggests products and services to meet member needs while exercising independent judgment in resolving issues and satisfying members. The Beacon Hill Branch is looking for someone who is flexible, responsible and with a positive attitude. Experience in customer service and cash handling desired.



Financial Service Specialist

Seattle, WA - Wallingford Branch

The Financial Service Specialist will create an exceptional member experience by discovering our member's financial needs and offering products and services that will save them money, earn them more and make their lives more convenient. Your primary role will be to establish new memberships and deepen relationships with existing members by opening deposit accounts, submitting and funding loan applications, as well as setting up convenient services. Other duties will include supporting the branch operations staff as necessary, answering phones, and helping with additional credit union processes when needed.



IT Specialist I

Seattle, WA

The IT Specialist I will administer the Help Desk in support of systems and services for end users. This includes the ability to exist as point person for end user problem resolution, utilize system and services that manage the resolution process and monitor and report on business systems and infrastructure status. Administering system updates to software in a minimally invasive fashion – after business hours – is required. The IT Specialist I will also be responsible for interfacing with internal peers to assist in the support of projects and obtain general knowledge of the business systems and infrastructure. Experience with PC, printer, network and telecom administration and maintenance and in customer service required.



Senior Consumer Lending Officer

Seattle, WA

The Senior Consumer Lending Officer will handle all phases of loan approval or denial. The candidate will have extensive contact with the members, and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Credit Union. The candidate requires extensive knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services, exercises independent judgment requiring minimum supervision, underwrite Indirect loans in accordance with CUDL & Credit Union policies and have Mortgage experience to underwrite Home Equity Loans. The hours for Senior Consumer Lending Officer are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday-Sunday.



Financial Services Specialist

Seattle, WA

****This position is for Verity Credit Union's new branch in Greenwood. It will be opening in late 2015, in the meantime, the Financial Services Specialist will be floating and learning in all branches.****


The Financial Services Specialist creates an exceptional member experience by discovering our member's financial needs and offering products and services that will save them money, earn them more and make their lives more convenient. This position handles all aspects of the member experience in the branch. The Financial Services Specialist processes all in-branch transactions, educates members on alternate ways to transact on their accounts, establishes new member accounts and loans, and discovers and recommends additional products and services that would benefit members.

This position is responsible for evaluating loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss, and examines loan documentation for accuracy and completeness. The Underwriter may be involved in one or several types of mortgage lending. This position's lending authority to include conventional, government and jumbo loan programs.


Loan Processor

Seattle, WA

The Loan Processor efficiently processes loans complying with credit union, investor, and regulatory policies and procedures and ensure deadlines are met. The Loan Processor will ensure loan packages complies with all credit union, investor, RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, ECOA, HUD and VA policies, procedures, rules and regulations. The Loan Processor will ensure loan conditions of approval are requested and received in a timely manner, will follow up on conditions when necessary and submit clear and accurate loan files to underwriting.

  • 401(k): We offer a 3% matching contribution to each employee's 401(k) fund. The employer match is 100% vested, providing higher interest-earning potential on funds. Employees are eligible to participate after 90 days of full-time employment.
  • Roth 401(k): Verity's Roth 401(k) is identical to our traditional 401(k) program except that contributions are made using after-tax dollars. Qualified future distributions are tax-free.
