THE BANNER DAYS
Singer/songwriters Bradford Loomis and Beth Whitney are both established in Seattle music scene. The group started as a casual co-writing experiment between Bradford and Beth and resulted in the release of their debut album, The Banner Days, in August 2014. Beth's husband and collaborator, Aaron Fishburn, rounds out the group on upright bass.
Bradford, born in the Pacific Northwest, got his start in music with school choir, band and orchestra. During school, he developed a love for the songs and stories of American folklore, and uses those roots and style to share his emotions. His influences include The Civil Wars, the Swell Season, Johnny Cash and T-Bone Burnett.
Beth grew up in an artistic family on a farm north of Seattle. The award-winning songwriter creates music about simple things: faith, suffering, hope and love. She combines the storytelling of folk music and a bit of pop to captivate audiences and send them home with an inspirational anthem.
The Banner Days joined Verity's list of featured musicians in 2016, writing two original songs: "Time" and "Home."
