Terms and Conditions

  • You must be a member of Verity Credit Union or become one at time of application.
  • In order to receive the 5.05%  Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on your Velocity Checking Account balance of up to $40,000 and have ATM Fees refunded, you agree to meet the following:
    1. Make 12 Debit and Point of Sale transactions each cycle
    2. Consent to receive eStatements
    3. Log-on to Home Banking one time per cycle
  • If you fail to meet these qualifications during a cycle, your Velocity Checking Account balance will earn 0.10% APY and you will not receive ATM refunds for that time period.
  • An APY of 1.00% will be paid on all amounts above the $40,000 each cycle that you qualify.
  • ATM refunds up to $25 per cycle will be awarded if you qualify.

*5.05% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on balances between one penny and $40,000, and 1.00% APY paid on all amounts above $40,000 each cycle the minimum requirements are met. If you do not meet the requirements per cycle, your account will still function as a free checking account earning 0.10% APY; however, it will not receive ATM refunds for that time period. Rates effective June 1-30, 2008 and will adjust to 5.05% APY as of July 1, 2008. We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No Minimum Balance Required. Available to Personal Accounts only. No monthly service charge.
